You (self-gurus) guys need to stop wasting developers' time and work with accurate data (not wish data):

Just because a developer wants to learn a language (call it JavaScript), it doesn't mean another language (call it PHP) is dying. I used these two because there is a well-known open war between them.

Companies don't care at all what their developers want to use. Companies want to keep and maintain software that they already built (or paid for it).

Stop asking “what do you want to work with” and start asking “what is the language you use daily at work”.
