Should you consider that Microsoft (Outlook alone) collects and shares tons of user data with 600? 700? 800? partners. Apple’s data collection is much more limited.

I am an Apple user and like to see myself as an Apple fanboy. Still, I prefer to keep my system and data “as private as they are”, especially when working with other private by-default companies such as Proton or Standard Notes.

I understand you are delighted to use “AI” for your daily tasks, but I don't. LLM is just a model with zillions of conditionals and instructions but not a real “intelligence”. And they should not use my data to keep feeding the beast.

Enjoy your Microsoft Copilot, if you want to use it. Otherwise, please recognise these two companies are different in goals and objectives.
