PHP is a de-facto hated language, but for anyone who uses it, you have no arguments. PHP has got tons of updates since earlier versions, and it's a programming language that performs very well and is not insecure at all.

Furthermore, those are bad-programmer arguments. Any programming language performs poorly and is insecure if the developer doesn't have the necessary experience.
