From my first-hand experience, companies claim to be Agile, while they never want to lose the control they had with Waterfall. Furthermore, companies never wanted to adopt the Agile methodologies (i.e. as defined in the Scrum Guide).

Therefore, there is the wrong concept of the dead Agile because it was hard to implement and adopt it as it should be.
